PPG introduces Duraform BP polyester coatings

PPG Industries’ coil and building products group has introduced Duraform BP coating, a next-generation polyester coil coating engineered specifically for building product manufacturers. Designed for one-coat application over aluminium or two-coat application over aluminium or hot-dipped galvanised steel, Duraform BP coating is formulated with PPG’s star-shaped polyester polymer to enhance forming flexibility and increase resistance to colour fading, chalk, dirt and stains. The coating is available in a palette of colours in high, medium and low glosses, and offers more processing flexibility because of its wide cure parameters and flow characteristics.
